I’m Davey Anthony Rietmeijer, a Dutch-born film colorist & photographer driven by a love for storytelling and world building.

As a kid, cinema was my escape from the world.

I found refuge in distant worlds, in stories and characters that quietly shaped the way I saw life,
pushing me to become stronger, dream bigger, and feel deeper.

As I grew older, I became obsessed with the idea of creating those worlds myself.

Because to me, that’s what filmmaking is about;

leaving something behind that outlives us,
something that inspires generations to come.
